Biography
Kai Djuric started playing Trumpet more than twenty five years ago. Since age of 8 has performed classical recitals and won awards at national music festivals. Since 1995 he has performed Jazz, R&B, Funk, Latin and Big Band music in Canada, States and Europe. In 2005 Kai moved to Hong Kong to perform regularly at JJ's, and has made Hong Kong his home. Kai has produced and directed projects that have performed multiple venues and jazz festivals(Du Maurier international jazz festival, Toronto beaches festival,to name a few).
Kai's musicality, ability to work well with others, positive outlook and professionalism made him a great addition to all music projects he has been involved with. In both live and studio sessions, Kai maintains artistic voice and communicates inspiration and creativity which seem to flow quite naturally and effortlessly.
In addition to playing trumpet, Kai is versed at different percussion and continues to expand his musical horizons through integration of multiple musical styles and influences. At the moment Kai's new band "Next Level" is getting attention while performing live mix of Dance, R'n'B and Acid Jazz. Strong musical foundation, attention to melody, rhythm, and his love of music gives a fresh edge to all the projects Kai is a part of.
